Ethical Policy

We pride ourselves on being eco-friendly & ethical, both as a family and in business. We do our best to promote the use of reusable nappies & sanitary wear and are always happy to provide advice and problem solve, whether you buy from us or not!

We also take the following steps as a business:

Reuse packaging where possible. You may receive your order in packaging that has been used previously, though as many of our suppliers reuse packaging and keep packaging to a minimum we do often have to send your order in new packaging. Please re-use this where you can.
Minimise packaging, paper & printing. We try where possible to operate as a paperless office. As such you will not receive an invoice in your order. You will be emailed an order confirmation after placing your order. If you require a printed invoice, please let us know in the comments box at checkout or email us.
Use recycled products where possible. Anything we do print, including our business cards, are printed on recycled paper.
Source products from other eco-friendly, ethical businesses and other work at home mums.
Where possible we use Open Source software.

As a family we:

Used cloth nappies on our daughter (until she potty trained) and will use cloth again with our second daughter.
I use a Mooncup and cloth sanitary pads.
are on an eco-tariff for utility bills where possible
use natural toiletries and cleaning products, minimising our impact on the environment.
recycle as much waste as possible, either by composting, donating to charity or via the council's green bin. We try to buy products with minimal packaging where possible too.
